Who's ever heard of a five year plan?
Why can't anyone understand the illusion of it?
Fate dictates what I feel, so I close my eyes and
Take my hands off the wheel, and it greets me like a
Dream, coming undone at the
Seams, has never been so clean
And I just don't know who to blame
When everything changes but stays the same
Just can't seem to see past tomorrow
Oh well, whatever, guess I'm in tow
Despite efforts that are my best
I'm still assured that my life is a mess
I've spent it working for the payroll, like I was taught
But now I'm nothing but wasted potential
And maybe it's too late
I'm sewn into my fate
Can't wait to fade away
Can't wait to fade away
And I just don't know who to blame
When everything changes but stays the same
Just can't seem to see past tomorrow
Oh well, whatever, guess I'm in tow
And I just don't know who to blame
When everything changes but stays the same
Just can't seem to see past tomorrow
Oh well, whatever, guess I'm in tow
I can’t get over the beauty of this album. It’s utterly stunning in so many different ways, and I feel like I pick up a new element every time I give it a listen. Epically huge intertwined with delicate moments that make this album so intrinsically individual. francesca
